Unity - Fair Trade MarketplaceBuilding a just and sustainable world community through Fair Trade We admit it - we are idealists. We are dreamers. We believe in the goodness of humanity and the ideals of environmental sustainability, social justice, and peace on earth. Please allow us to introduce ourselves... Our names are Drew and Nichole Warner and we have 5 children - Shelby, Noah, Emma, Elijah and Maya. We live in rural Leelanau County, the "pinky finger" of Michigan, with our dog Uma. We're so glad to meet you! Unity - Fair Trade Marketplace has been a long time coming.....It started many years ago in the parking lot scene at some Grateful Dead shows then to a beautiful storefront in Traverse City, Michigan and now here to our new online home. It's been quite a journey to say the least, and we just know this is only the beginning. We are firm believers in the idea that each one of us has the power, and the responsibility, to make the world a better place. We also believe in the power of people coming together to create change, the power of community. Fair Trade at it's core is about bringing people together, building a just and sustainable world community through respect and trust. Through Unity - Fair Trade Marketplace we hope to contribute to this global community and bring to the forefront of our society the ideals of Fair Trade. We are starting small, but with big ideas and as we grow we hope to build a community of our own here at Unity - Fair Trade Marketplace......a community of folks who believe that we can make the world a better place by changing the way we live each day, by being conscious of our actions and how they affect the earth and other people, and by filling our hearts with compassion and understanding.
