Due to the handmade nature of the products on our site, the item you receive may differ slightly in size or color from that which you see in the photo. Items are not made in a factory, which is a good thing!

Also due to being handmade and coming from small villages all over the world, the production time is quite lengthy. So, we may occasionally run out of an item and will be unable to immediately get more. If an item you order is not available, you will be notified by e-mail and will not be charged for the item. We do not put items on backorder but you may request to be notified when the item is available again by e-mailing us.

We strive to be as environmentally conscious as possible in all of our actions, including our packaging. When you receive your order, it may come in a beat up box with funky packaging materials inside. This is just our way of re-using and recycling as much as possible. We hope you do the same.....you could re-use the box and packaging material or find a local business that does lots of shipping and "donate" the materials to them. The Earth will thank you!

If you would like to add a personal touch to your gift order there are two options that are offered during the checkout process. The first option is to enter a free message (250 characters max) to the packing slip of the order. The second option is to add a personalized gift card with message (250 characters or less) printed on tree free banana leaf card stock for a fee of $2.00. This card will then be included in the order.
